Bole Road and the streets around it are the center of Addis Ababa’s nightlife. Kazanchis and the Live Music Scene

For something more cultural, Kazanchis is known for its azmari bet — traditional Ethiopian music houses where live singers perform call-and-response songs, often with audience participation, alongside local food and drink. It’s a completely different pace from Bole’s bars and lounges, and worth experiencing at least once.
